A Cooler Day

.  

It's much fresher than yesterday

so I'm relaxing in the shade.

The paving is cool under my tummy

and I think it will soon be time for lunch

so I'll make sure Hannah knows.

A Hot Day

.

It looks like being another hot day Lucy.

Don't tell me about it Hannah

I feel as though I've been pickled so I'm going to go inside

and get some cold water

Well Lucy I've found stretching out early

and leaving my tummy on view

is the only way to get any air in my furs

so you'll have to excuse my lack of attention.

A Sunshine Day

.

The sun is bright today

and I'm making the most of it.

Mum says 

she's going to rub my tummy

if I'm staying here much longer

BUT

I keep wondering if I should move away or stay and snooze

as I'm so very sleepy.

What do you think I should do?

I'm Listening

I'm listening hard

as I don't want to miss

the sound of Mum opening the oven door.

I hope she remembers

not to forget me as my tummy is quite empty.

Thank goodness she came good and gave me a dish

of chicken all for ME

My Dinner

I'm waiting for my lunch

and my tummy's feeling empty

but I think I can hear Mum

rattling my dish

so I'll just mooch into the kitchen!

A Rustle

.

I'm sure I heard something down here

I meowed Hannah and she came to help me

but we couldn't see anything

and can't understand it.

 I'm sitting here waiting to hear it again

although my tummy is telling me

it's time for my dinner and I'd hate to miss it

but I'll be back when I've eaten.

Is it Time?

I'm sitting here quietly

because it's nearly lunch time

and I'm feeling rather hungry.

Please hurry up Mum cos my tummy's grumbling

Freezing Friday

The sun was lovely this morning

so I went outside.



The sky was so blue

BUT




the slabs were so cold that I scurried back inside

and rolled over so Mum

Mum could rub my tummy warm again.

Is it dinner time?

My tummy is grumbling

so be relieved you can't hear it!

(Mum laughed and said it looked as though

I'd been nibbling on this scratchy post as there's
quite some bare patches)

So I gave her my "look"

and she opened me my favourite food

Sheba Turkey in White Sauce.

Mmmmm -delicious
