Is It Time?

I'm waiting for Mum

to get me some chicken

so I'm sitting on the kitchen floor

and I hope she won't be long

because I'm feeling

rather hungry

Hurry Up Mum I'm starving.

Watching Mum

.

I'm hiding on a chair under the table

trying to catch Mum's attention

but she's talking to her friend

and is ignoring me

which is very naughty of her

as I only wanted to know

if there was any chicken left over for me!

Woo Hoo - there was!!!

I'm Listening

.

I've been listening for Mum

as I'm hoping I'll be hearing

the sound of her cutting up my chicken

and I don't want to look

too eager to rub her legs

in case she thinks I'm pushy!

Wordy Wednesday

.

Mum's cooking us some chicken

but she seems to be taking ages

so I came out in the garden and pretended to mooch

before listening at the back door

to make sure I don't get

 an empty plate.

Clean Tails and Dirty Dishes!

.  

I kept rubbing Mum's legs

to get her attention and got a dish of chicken.

I wish it had been twice as much

but she said I was putting on weight - how rude!!

However to placate her I went outside

and waved my clean tail at her so I must be a size smaller now.

Keeping Watch

.

I've been patrolling outside on our neighbours garage 

and I paused to look down the close

but there wasn't any one about so

I looked towards our neighbours windows 

but she wasn't about either

 I turned back in case there was food in my dish

and I struck lucky

It was worth waiting for!!

Watching Mum

.

I 'm sitting very quietly

so I can keep an eye on Mum.

She's got a piece of chicken for me and is waiting

for the oven to get hot

I hope she'll watch over it and won't let it overcook

so I'll watch her watching the chicken

from somewhere much closer to my dish.

Sitting in the Sun

.

It's lovely in the sunshine

and I'm enjoying the feel

of the sun on my furs

through the window

while anticipating

a mouthful of slightly warm chicken.

Woo Hoo

Mum called me into the kitchen

and gave me a lovely dish of chicken.

I didn't bother to wash my paws

  as I was far too busy eating

I'm sorry about the bits on the floor

but I'll clean them up

next time I take a breath!

I'm listening hard

as I don't want to miss

the sound of Mum opening the oven door.

I hope she remembers

not to forget me as my tummy is quite empty.

Thank goodness she came good and gave me a dish

of chicken all for ME
