The Noisy Birdies

There some birdies

on the conservatory roof

and I wish they'd go away

because they woke me up.

What noisy birds they are!!

A Noisy Birdie

There's a birdie on our conservatory roof

and it's strolling up and down.

I hope he's not going to keep hopping along

or I'll have to go up there

and chase him away

as he's making my neck ache

from all that looking up!

Watching for Anna

.

I've been watching for Anna

but I couldn't see her anywhere

so I climbed up here

and looked all around

but I still couldn't see her so Hannah suggested

that maybe she's hiding

FROM ME!

Hello There

.

I'm up on the roof again

as I wondered if there was any tempting food up there!

and to make Mum splutter and cry out

for me to come down

but at least I didn't scare her by crawling down under

the solar panels!

NB  I might just give her a little scare if my dinner

isn't up to scratch!!

Wordy Wednesday

.

I'm up on the roof

the sun is shining

and I'm feeling happy

as I've been walking over the solar panels

which makes Mum unhappy in case I go underneath 

them and get stuck

but hey ho it's all part of life on the roof!

Just Looking

.

I jumped up on the fence

hoping to see our neighbour Anna 

but it seemed she had gone out

so I meowed to Mum

and jumped up on the roof

but she made me come down

and I sulked as I wanted to get my own back 

so I got on the garage roof and turned my back on her!

Our Sunshiny Day

.

We woke up to lovely sunshine today

and Lucy went straight onto the conservatory roof

to get a good look round.

Hannah heard her up there

and went up to see her and they sat a while

taking in the silence.

Lucy got annoyed that there was no-one about

so she shouted "Hello" at the top of her voice

while Hannah sat enjoying the peace but hoped no-one

had heard Lucy shouting!

My Morning Stroll

Lucy set off along the fence

making sure she stepped over the fence posts.

She paused now and again to have a look round.

When she was sure that Mum wasn't looking

she jumped up on the roof to have a quick look round

then came back down hoping that she hadn't  been missed.

What Dog?

.

We could hear barking early this morning

and Lucy went to look from the garage roof

but couldn't see a dog anywhere

 either up or down the road.

Hannah came up to look too

and looked both up

and down the close

before sitting together for a few minutes 

enjoying the sunshine.

A little later Lucy meandered home

along the fence top

while Hannah took a last look through the gap in the fence

before going inside to see  if there was any breakfast left!

They never did see the barking dog!!
