The Winter Jasmine

I'm sitting under the winter jasmine

relaxing under it's leaves.

In a few weeks

the leaves will drop off

before the weather sets in

when the cold begins and I hope

 it won't be too snowy as my paws don't like it.

A Walk on the Roof

.

We've come up on to the garage roof

to have a look around.

Hannah told me to be quiet

as we hate to miss anything that could be  happening outside.

Lucy got her nose almost on the roof and shouted

 to me to come up and see if I could

make out what was happening there

but alas we couldn't see

because this tree was too big and full of leaves.

Hiding from the Sun

.

I've had to hide

away from the sun

and got under these leaves

so at last I've managed to sit in the shade

and hope I'll be able to keep cool.

.

A Rustle

I can hear something moving

up here in the leaves 

even though I'm on my tiptoes.

I can't smell anything and

I'd like to climb up but I know Mum



is watching me out of the window!!



I'll leave it until she's on the phone again!!

Thankful Thursday

We are thankful today

for the green leaves

in the garden behind ours and to sit

in the shade there and shelter from the hot sun.

We love the trees there that make it private.

We are thankful too for the winds that cool us and to 

have each other to have fun with 

and for Mum to call us

when it's time for dinner and to give us cuddles.

A Windy Day

It's been quite windy 

and some leaves have blown into the garden.

I love to chase them

and catch them in my paws

This one was trying to get away from me.

A little birdie told us that it is Mo's birthday today 

so we'd like to wish him a very 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Just Checking

I like to sniff these leaves

to check there has been no strangers here.

I so hate it when some other cat 

has hidden underneath these leaves and left us

all their their stink!

Tuxie Tuesday

Yesterday I  sat and watched Lucy

rushing round after leaves.

After all that action

I began to feel

very tired

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

May Madness

It is quite windy today

and lots of  last years leaves are blowing about.

and just as you go to grab one

they just keep blowing away.

They make me very mad!!!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Wandering on Wednesday

It's still cold outside but I was bored

with staying inside.

so I climbed the fence and went towards the garage

stopping to look round on the way.

It was too cold to linger so I jumped onto the garage roof

and had a walk round.

There are lots of old leaves still on this tree

despite the cold winds

but it was so cold up there that I soon wandered back

  and jumped down onto the fence

 and hurried inside to warm my toes.

Rain, rain go away

It was raining when we went to bed last night

and guess what
it is still raining this morning and it's going to last all day

We are getting very restless and so Mum said

we could get our nippy pillows out.

Hannah grabbed one first

and Mum gave her a dried leaf too

of course Lucy had to have a pillow and her own leaf too

if there wasn't going to be smacky paws!

Hannah's leaf

was bigger than Lucy's leaf so Mum

had to get her a bigger one too!

Well Mum didn't want us

to start a nippy war!
