I'm Listening

I've been listening for Mum


as I'm hoping I'll be hearing


the sound of her cutting up my chicken


and I don't want to look


too eager to rub her legs


in case she thinks I'm pushy!

    You sure are a polite and patient lady, Hannah. But, if your mom does start taking too long, sometimes you just have to be pushy, and in that case rub her legs all you want. Purrs!
