It's Cold Today

.

It has suddenly turned cold here

so we snuggled up to Mum

and sat on her legs

so she could keep us warm.

I'm Listening

.

I've been listening for Mum

as I'm hoping I'll be hearing

the sound of her cutting up my chicken

and I don't want to look

too eager to rub her legs

in case she thinks I'm pushy!

Keeping Fit

.

I'm trying to keep fit

and have started exercising

using the pole on the cat tree.

This exercise helps with climbing fences

as it makes my legs work hard

and helps getting my muscles firmer.

Mum disagrees with me

and says I look much better

when I'm having a rest.

Sitting with Mum

We both love to get on Mum's knee

when she sits with her feet up

reading or watching TV.

We'd like  to snooze there but she keeps moaning

that her legs have gone dead

and that keeps us awake!!

if I can roll about

and throw my legs in the air

in gay abandon!
