Truffle's Ball

We were so excited to have been invited to

Truffle's Ball

and we had great pleasure in accepting.

and of course we had to get ourselves pretty party dresses.

We teleported over to the address where the Ball was taking place

not forgetting to take wine and flowers for the hostess.

However we had a nagging feeling we had forgotten something important

and suddenly we had that eureka moment

In the excitement of getting there we had forgotten to bring our dresses!!

We ran round and round in a panic and suddenly we stopped and concentrated our minds to connect with Mum's.

Fortunately she was at home and promised to send them to us without delay. We had a few long moments of anxiety but she managed to get our gowns to us quickly.

We had to hurry to get dressed

and help each other with our fascinators.

We were now ready to join our hostess and mingle with the other guests,

relax and enjoy ourselves.

The Pole Dancer

I've decided to start a new hobby

and thought I'd try pole dancing

it is very good exercise

and will make me very supple

Lucy has been giving me advice

but she hasn't got any experience

so back to the drawing board.

We would like to wish our friend ML a very Happy Birthday and hope she has a wonderful day.

Mum said I could help her open the parcel and put it ready for me on her desk

so I jumped up to investigate and see if there were any clues

and in fact I nearly fell off the desk

as I could tell it was my most favourite smell ever

and it was from Mum's furrend Bin (our Auntie Lupie)

What could it possibly be?

In addition to silvervine powder, leaves, stems and a new pillow there were some fruits
which are like Cat's Ginseng.

We were not interested in the piece that Mum put down for us but if any of you would like to
try them leave a note in the comments and Mum will send them on to you.

looking out the window

while waiting for Mum

so I can help her to open our parcel.

A Parcel

The post lady knocked on our door and Mum found there was a parcel for us.

she fetched it and put it on the worktop

we could see the airmail stamp so we started to get excited

as no-one sends anything airmail to Mum

and no-one ever sends parcels to her

in fact she usually only gets bills.

National Straw Hat Day

We decided to take some time out from our busy lives

and have some fun

as it is

"National Straw Hat Day"

Mum dusted off our hat boxes

and Hannah couldn't wait to try her hat on

and wanted Mum to make sure that she had tied the bow just right

which of course she had

Lucy had gone quiet and then suddenly decided to fetch her hat and put it on too

She loved how there was space for her ears to peek through the straw and keep cool

and made mum check out the fetching ribbon and bow.

We hope all our furrends think we look very smart

Can we have afternoon tea outside today please Mum - waitress service of course.

but as the servant ignores her she has to take

ps: the servant says sorry about the state of the cat flap but dirty paws are a hazard when the weather is filthy.

Hello everyone

It's me again today as Lucy is at the Tabby Cat Club

so I'm able to take it easy

and relax with Mum

while she hand feeds me my chicken.

I found this piece of string in the garage

so I brought it out to show Mum

and held it up so she got a good view

but she just wasn't interested

so I tried making it look like a snake

then wrapped it round my neck - still no interest!

so I turned my back on her and played by myself

she eventually took the hint and obliged by holding it up for me to whap

Talk about slow on the uptake!!
