We're Waiting

Can we come in please?

Mum opened the door

and we got a far as the mat just inside.



She was washing the kitchen floor

and we know better than to leave dirty paw marks

Hannah jumped up and settled down

while Lucy jumped on to the back of a chair.



When the floor was dry we were allowed inside



and Hannah

jumped on to a kitchen chair



while Lucy

sat under a table just in case a whisker fell out.

Friday Morning

Friday morning was dry

with a little sunshine promised later

which meant I could do my patrol

without having to hurry 

and I enjoyed a good look round.


I do so hate to miss anything!
