Lucy's Woeful Weekend

.

This is me on a good day but this weekend I have been sick and this morning mum had to take me to the stabby vet place which is my most unfavourite place.

.

.

Mum: Lucy was very sick a few times yesterday and after the first bout it was just yellow bile - usually she lays low for a few hours if this happens and then feels better but she was no better this morning so off the the vets we went. Diane who we usually see was not working today so we had to see another lady vet and she said she wasn't showing signs of dehydration so has given me some gloop to syringe down her throat. Lucy might be feeling grotty but she won't let me near her mouth and I have several interesting red claw marks to prove it but there is a plan B - which I have to think about -or does anyone have a suggestion.

Purrs for Lucy Please

.
Could you all please purr for Lucy.
.

.
She woke me in the night being sick and I got out of bed to clean up and found it was just blood. I rushed to ring the vet and while I was dialling she was sick with blood again.
The vet said to go straight down and she examined her and thinks it may be an ulcer - she gave her a shot of antibiotic and sent me home with Antepsin which she has to have by syringe 3 times a day and Zantac to be given by syringe twice a day.
At present she is hiding in a basket as she is mad at me for wrapping her in a bath towel and giving her both lots of medication!
She must not have any food until this afternoon so have had to feed Hannah "behind closed doors"!
Does anyone have any advice to give me please?
I am just praying she is not going to be sick with blood again and this is just a one off episode - it being the weekend makes it seem so much worse as the vets are only on call after lunchtime today.
Sorry for my ravings but I beside myself with worry over this.

Thankful Thursday

.
I am thankful that I am not going to the vets today - Mum took me yesterday for a check up.

.

.
They think I may have asthma and I'm to finish my tablets and go back in two weeks for another check.
.
Mum is thankful we aren't at the vets today as yesterday I hurled my brekkie in the PTU on the way there and the vet had to help mum clean me up and un matt my white frill.
.
It serves them right for torturing me Ha Ha!!
