Hiding from the Sun

I've had to hide

away from the sun

and got under these leaves

so at last I've managed to sit in the shade

and hope I'll be able to keep cool.

A Cooler Day

.  

It's much fresher than yesterday

so I'm relaxing in the shade.

The paving is cool under my tummy

and I think it will soon be time for lunch

so I'll make sure Hannah knows.

Finally Friday

.

It's a lovely day

so I jumped up on the fence

and strolled down to the garage

pausing to look into our neighbours garden

before jumping down here

and relaxing in the shade

under the garden seat.

A Hot Day in the Garden

It's very warm here today

so I'm relaxing in the shade

I decided to make a move

and wash my paws

so they were nice and clean

and didn't dirty the kitchen floor again.

Ooops - sorry Mum!!

In The Shade

It's so hot in the garden

I had to find some shade

so I climbed inside the jasmine bush

where at least I could cool off

and I could see

what was happening all around.

My Tail

I've been sitting under the seat

getting some shade

and now I must get the dust out my fur

as it wanted sweeping under there.

That feels much better 

and I hope you think I look neater too.

Thankful Thursday

We are thankful today

for the green leaves

in the garden behind ours and to sit

in the shade there and shelter from the hot sun.

We love the trees there that make it private.

We are thankful too for the winds that cool us and to 

have each other to have fun with 

and for Mum to call us

when it's time for dinner and to give us cuddles.

In the Garden

It's a lovely day for a stroll

and a look round

but it was too hot outside for me in the sun

so I went to sit in the shade

where it was a bit cooler.

The Hots

It has been 

very warm here this weekend

so I've been doing

a lot of this

and that in the shade.

It's Hot, Hot, Hot

I'm just lazing today

and keeping in the shade.

I haven't got the energy to move

even  for my chicken!

Sitting Pretty

I've been sitting by the seat

hoping Mum would come along

I've even rolled over

in the hope she'd rub my tum.

BUT

She's rabbiting on the phone to a friend

   

and now I'm in the shade

I might as well go in and go and take a nap!
