Pottering in the Garden

It's another hot day here

and I was trying to rest here out of the sun

when I heard a noise

from next door so I asked Lucy if she knew who it was

she didn't know but she listened carefully

in case it there was any interesting gossip!

Our Stroll

It's a lovely sunny day here today and

we were eager to get outside and went to

the bottom of next door's garden

and stayed down there quite some time sniffing to see


if there had been any strange cats there.

Eventually Hannah got bored there but Lucy

was blocking Hannah's way home.

Eventually Hannah managed to move her on

and they meandered back home hoping for lunch.

Fence Patrol



It's very quiet and nothing interesting is happening

there are birds feeding over the fence 

in the next door garden but the dog is outside!!

Oh well I might as well go home



before it starts to rain AGAIN!!!

I Spy With My Little Eye

I am just watching the birdies in the garden next door to us.


I get quite a good view through the gap in the fence boards and through that little spy hole - I think Mum drilled it specially so I can put my eye against it for a secret close up view.

Mum why don't you put food out for the birdies like the lady next door?

Mum: I don't think they would want to eat at your restaurant Hannah.
