Stop Staring at me!

I was rolling on the floor

and wanted to take a nap

but Mum kept talking to me

so I gave up and

pretended to listen!

I'm Waiting

Mum's talking on the phone

to her best friend

and I'm waiting to sit with her.

I wish she'd hurry up

as I'd like to have a nap.

Things to do

I thought I'd show you

what I do to pass the time

while Mum is talking to a friend.

I find looking out the window soon gets boring 

when you're gazing at nothing in particular

before giving up and jumping down to try and find

a quiet place to nap

My Nap

I'm feeling sleepy

and would love a nap

but Mum is in and out tidying up

and she keeps talking to me.

I wish she'd shut up and go and read the paper.
