Quiet Please

I'm sitting in the sunshine

and soaking up the rays

but I'm beginning to feel sleepy

so I think I'll have a nap on Mum's paper


while she gives me extra scritches.

Blankie Kicking

I'm going to have a game of blankie kicking

when I've properly woken up

and rubbed the sleep from my eyes.

I find it's a great start to the day

when it's too windy to go fence walking.

Why does Mum always wake me up

when she gets out of bed?

She doesn't care if I'm still sleepy.

I've just eaten my breakfast

and thought I sit here for a while

as I'm feeling quite sleepy.
