Hurry Up Mum

I've been sitting here for ages and Mum has just

sat down

so I'm waiting for her to pull out the stool

and put her feet up with me on her knee wrapped

in her quilted throw. 

Now she's chatting to her friend 

on the 'phone so I'll probably 

still be sitting here for a long time yet!!

Mum came out to read the paper

and I waited very patiently

when she had to answer the phone

and she was gone ages gossiping and  I  

must have been having a nightmare

as when she came out it looked

rather like this!
