We've been sitting in the shade
listening to the birdies having a gossip.
It has been very hot here (for us in the UK in the 80's)
and Hannah wished she could take her fur coat off
so she stayed in the shade
while Lucy did the garden patrol for Mum
.
We been trying to find the zippers on our fur outfits. Whew it just too hots on both sides of the Puddle. Stay cool, you two are always lovely, and has a happy.
ReplyDeleteHugs and kitty kisses!
Lucy, you are very brave to venture out in the heat! But the yard does need patrolling and some cat's gotta do it!!
ReplyDeleteWell at least the sun is out and you can go outside. Sorry that it is hot there though. Good girl Lucy for snooopervising on the fence. Hope all three of you have a great day.
ReplyDeleteWe you are brave pretty Lucy, that heat is not much fun!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww sweet Hannah!! You have the prettiest coat but best to stay in the shade in this heat! Lovely Lucy! You are amazing!! Enjoy your patrol but don't go too far away now!! Take care

ReplyDeleteI wonder what the birdies have been saying. Ours are chatting two. Perhaps they are just as happy as us kitties at finally having some sunny weather and NO rain - fur a while anyway :)xx

No matter what the weather, garden patrol must go on. Good job, Lucy!
ReplyDeleteIt has been quite hot here, too. It will be nice if you can take off your fur coat :-) I hope you both stay cool.
ReplyDeleteFaz have you been running on the Olympic Torch relay too?
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
That was nice of you, Lucy, doing the patrol so Hannah would not get overheated!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the hot weather!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow. 80s would be cool for us! Were the birdies gossiping about the Olympics? :)
ReplyDeleteKizzie says she has found a cool spot too. Will you be watching the opening ceremony tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteYes, it's been very hot, here, too in most of southern Canada and the U.S. Over 100 deg. F for extended periods.
ReplyDeleteWe wish we could visit you for your cooler weather! Even so, I hope you have air conditioning -- or at least a huge fan.
Kudos to Lucy for doing the patrol while Hannah is sidelined.
It is very hot here too and we have been laying under the azaleas.
ReplyDeletewe are so glad we live in a house with a cold box on it. It has been very hot here and they are issuing heat advisories.

Were the gossipy birdies talking about you? I hope not..
ReplyDeleteWe lie under the fan all day so it ruffles our furs. You should try it!
ReplyDeleteIt's sooo cold here, hard to imagine it being too warm!
ReplyDeleteThe 80's sound lovely! Beautiful spring weather, and we'd love to sit in the shade with you. This summer we've broken all sorts of records for the most days in the 90's & 100's. Ugh! We'd rather not.
ReplyDeleteWe wish our hot summers were in the 80s. It was in the 100s for us today.
