In the Garden

.

I'm sitting in the garden

watching a little insect.

Mum shouted me in

and told me not to get too hot

so I came inside to have my lunch.

Pottering About

.

I've been banished outside

so I started to wander about

and thought and I'd try

to get inside again so sat down and had a think

but all that thinking made me tired

so I had to sneak in and take a nap!

.

Not So Close Please

.

Mum please step back

and give me time to focus

I've only just come outside

and it's started to drizzle

so now I'm back inside

and am hoping for a snack.

.

It's Very Chilly

.

It's very chilly here today

and Hannah is glad of her furry paws

to keep her toesies warm.

Mum saw us outside waiting

for her to open the door

and we were so happy when

she found her her keys

so we could go in and warm our paws.

.

It's Freezing

.

It's freezing cold today so we are

staying inside

and taking lots of naps.

We hope we don't snore and keep you awake!

What a Surprise!

I can hardly believe 

the weather today!

It's so sunny  and there isn't a cloud in sight!

even so I must say I've got to go inside

as my toes are freezing cold!

Sitting in a Circle

.

Don't ask me why

I'm sitting in a circle

with the cold wind blowing

and ruffling my furs.

It's making my eyes water too 

so I've had to turn away and I'm going to go inside

and that's where I'm going to stay.

Watching

.

It's cold sitting here

as it's a dull day

and Mum says I've got to decide

whether to go out

or stay inside where it's warm, 

so I stayed inside and read Mum's newspaper.

Ooops it somehow got a bit ripped!

It's Raining

.

I'm sitting inside

taking my bath

as it's started to rain.

Mum says it's forecast to last for a while

so I'll take my time and make it last.

After lunch I may be awake enough


to take another nap!

Lurking in the Shade

It's quite warm outside

so I've been poking about

in the winter jasmine

looking to see if there's anything interesting here.

I went right inside to see

if there was anything lurking there

but alas the cupboard was bare!

Lucy and the Black and White Cat

I was looking down the garden 

from the conservatory when I heard

 a huge thump!

Mum went outside to take a look

and saw this cat looking down at her!

He/she quickly jumped down off the roof

and started going down the garden on the fence.

Mum wondered if he/she was going to jump down

as he/she started to look down at Lucy 

 who had gone outside to look.


Mum made her go back inside

so he jumped down, tapped the window


 and waved her goodbye.
