Mooching About

I love to get up on the garage roof

and have a stroll around

I look to see if any one is about

up and down our close

as I'd hate to miss anything

or anyone passing by

.

It's Chicken Time

.

I was strolling on the garage roof having

a look around

when I heard Mum calling me and rattling my dish

so I hurled myself at the cat flap and pushed it open

to make sure I got my warm chicken dinner 

before Lucy knew about it.

.

My Morning Stroll

I climbed up on the garage roof

and jumped down onto Elaine's garden gate.

As she wasn't there

I looked across the road

but there wasn't even a bird in sight

so I strolled along the fence and then


jumped down into the garden and went inside


where I found Hannah eating

the remains of my breakfast and I wasn't very pleased!

The Black Cat

On Sunday I was on the conservatory 

enjoying the sun

and having a few minutes peace and quiet,

when I saw a black cat

who was on our garage roof!!

It must be said Mum hadn't seen him

(humans are so silly not noticing these important things).

I shot along to the fence and tried to catch him

but he ran for his life and jumped down and disappeared.

which shows he was scared of little me!!


What a wimp!

Fence Walking

We set off slowly this morning

pausing to stare glance into the next garden

before we moved further along

Hannah wanted to go onto the garage roof

and so Lucy

followed her along and jumped up after her.

However she soon got bored

and turned back while Hannah

sat and waited to see if our neighbour was at home

but when she heard Mum rattling her dish

she soon hurried home.

Wandering on Wednesday

It's still cold outside but I was bored

with staying inside.

so I climbed the fence and went towards the garage

stopping to look round on the way.

It was too cold to linger so I jumped onto the garage roof

and had a walk round.

There are lots of old leaves still on this tree

despite the cold winds

but it was so cold up there that I soon wandered back

  and jumped down onto the fence

 and hurried inside to warm my toes.

Fur Patrol

Lucy sat quite still and looked

all around the garden.

There's not much to see although apart from a squillion


leaves and puddles after yesterday's torrential rain


and strong winds. 

She clambered on to the garage roof

and watched up and down our close.


All was quiet!

How boring she said (before coming down).

I should have stopped in bed.


We are lucky living on high ground many families


were flooded out of their homes and it could be


many months before they will be able to return.

Just Checking

Here we are on the garage roof

and we're inspecting the trees for strange cats

but there aren't any today.

and now we are looking out for different cars in our close.

Here I'm checking our neighbour's garden

and all seems to quiet so I thought

I'd sit a while and enjoy the day

Walking the Walk

Another grey Saturday and we can't decide what to do.

Hannah suddenly decides

that she wants to lead the way on to the garage

but Lucy won't budge for her

and even pokes her tongue out at her

Hannah tries head butting Lucy so eventually

Lucy has to back down and go up onto the garage roof

all because Hannah wanted to jump down the easy way!

What's Up

We have got lots birdies on our conservatory roof

and we can see them and hear them hopping about

.

.

They are annoying Hannah

.

.

she wanted a nap and they're keeping her wide awake.

.

The Wanderer Returns

.

Hannah has been on one of her walkabouts

.



.

It is very windy today and so

.


.

she is going slowly so she can grip on tight to the top of the fence

.


.

She has made it safely as far as the garage roof

.

.

and is just checking that she hasn't been followed home (can you see her coat blowing in the wind?)

.

.

All she has to do now is leap on to the pillar and then down onto the wall. We are sure she will be ready for a snack when she gets inside.
