It's a Sunny Day

It's sunny today

and it's going to last all day

so I'll go outside soon

when I've woken up properly.

Mum came a few minutes ago and gave me

a very tasty snack - nom! nom! nom!

I can't believe my luck

as the sun is bright today

and the wind is hardly blowing
the leaves on the winter jasmine

and even though it's still very cold

the sun feels quite warm on my face.
