Hide and Seek

We're playing hide and seek

and Hannah has counted to twenty

(give or take a number or two)

to give me time to hide.

Now where can I go

as I don't want to make it too easy

or too hard or I could be there for ever

and I don't want to miss my dinner.

Tossing and Turning

I just couldn't get to sleep

although I felt so tired

and my eyes were getting heavy.

I'll try counting up to 20

and close my eyes tight shut
