Is It Time?

I'm waiting for Mum

to get me some chicken

so I'm sitting on the kitchen floor

and I hope she won't be long

because I'm feeling

rather hungry

Hurry Up Mum I'm starving.

I'm Hungry

Our neighbour Anna

has got her parasol up in the garden.

I hung about in case she offered me a snack

and I meowed politely once or twice

but nothing was forth coming, 

so I meandered home

to Mum (and hopefully a morsel or two).

Breakfast has been eaten and forgotten

and I'm still feeling rather peckish 

so I am giving Mum

the "I'm starving " look

and hope it works and she doesn't notice

it's only 9.37 a.m.!

Mum says we won't be posting tomorrow as it's our

birthdays on Sunday and she's got lots to do.
