In Australia we call it 'running round like headless chooks!' The other thing we say is 'running round like blue arse flies'! I've never seen one of those. Have you? Yummmmmmm.......chicken!
Same saying in US as in Canada. Wonder where it originated? We also, say "two heads are better than one," so whatever Hannah and Lucy are up to they are using both their heads. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Lisbeth, Astrid and Calista Josette
Mum said she's all to familiar with this saying... I watch Hannah and Lucy they are plotting for sure. You never know when where how they will use it! Kitty tell you, but no tell them i say..Meow... Kitty XO
All we can say is , it's lucky the two of you are not chickens!! Heehee.Now... what are you two headless kittens up to this time?! We hope you have your heads screwed on tight so that you don't get into any trouble :)
Yep! We has "Running around like a chicken with its head chopped off!" Mommy worked on a ranch in her late teens and one of the jobs was to chop the heads off the chickens (and pluck and clean them) Some decapitated chickens can continue to run and flap its wings for some time without its head! Kisses Nellie
