I was just relaxing
when I heard a big loud noise
I had to lean over to see if I could see anything.
There was a man in a helmet in the garden behind our neighbours
(you might need to bigify the picture to see him near the top)
He was cutting the tree down as it had a disease.
BUT
what about our bird TV in the spring
when the baby birdies are learning to fly?
.
You will miss birdwatching from that window, Lucy!
ReplyDeletePurrs ... Rainbow
We lost one of our best Bird TV trees to a disease too! :-(
ReplyDeleteOh noes!! Awwww poor tree and no more Bird TV!! Oh Lucy!! Me and Charlie hope you and sweet Hannah get a different tree soon!! Yay! Take care

ReplyDeleteNo bird TV!? Maybe the birds will come into your garden instead so you can see them up close.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they will plant a new tree for the birdies!
ReplyDeleteOh Lucy, finally that tree is coming down. We bet the birds will find another home not far away. That is pretty exciting to have that Man up on the roof. Yikes. Keep watching him Lucy. Have a great day.

ReplyDeleteThey cut down the big tree right in front of our balcony about a month ago because it was sick also. So sad to see so many trees going away. :(
ReplyDeleteThat's so sad. :( Couldn't they give the tree some medicine to help it get better?
ReplyDeleteOh, sweet Lucy we are sorry you are losing the tree where the birdies lived. Maybe they will plant a new tree. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteAww, that's a shame about the tree. Maybe you need someone to put up some bird houses closer to your tv window!
ReplyDeleteLucy
ReplyDeletemaybe they will find a closer tree so you can still see those baby birdies.

Lucy sorry bout tree getting a disease and losing the best birdie tv. Through it looks like there are so other prime spots for the birdies for continued birdie tv watching.
ReplyDeleteWe are sure the birdies will still be around, but we understand!
