Just Watching

We've been sitting in the shade

listening to the birdies having a gossip.

It has been very hot here (for us in the UK in the 80's)

and Hannah wished she could take her fur coat off

so she stayed in the shade

while Lucy did the garden patrol for Mum

  17. Yes, it's been very hot, here, too in most of southern Canada and the U.S. Over 100 deg. F for extended periods.

We wish we could visit you for your cooler weather! Even so, I hope you have air conditioning -- or at least a huge fan.

Kudos to Lucy for doing the patrol while Hannah is sidelined.

  23. The 80's sound lovely! Beautiful spring weather, and we'd love to sit in the shade with you. This summer we've broken all sorts of records for the most days in the 90's & 100's. Ugh! We'd rather not.

  24. We wish our hot summers were in the 80s. It was in the 100s for us today.
