Finally Friday and World Cancer Day

Before today's blog I would like everyone to please remember today is WORLD CANCER DAY.
Please think of  everyone who suffers from this terrible disease.
I particularly want to remember my Mum who died in 1984 at the age of 62 - she was like a sister to me.
From diagnosis to her death took 9 months - I still miss her so much.
I am not asking for any comments
..............
I would also like to mention Vic who is fighting again against cancer
We are thinking of him and Ann particularly today
..............
Thank you and now to today's post which is more cheerful

  3. I did not know today was World Cancer day. That was a nice tribute to your Mom. It is a horrible disease.
Lucy, Tees is on his way over there right now, so you won't be bored any more.Even if you are bored, you sure look pretty. Also Tees wanted you to know that he will not be paying any attention to Magnolia.
    Wishing you a fantastic day.

  5. Oh Lucy, you should have gone fence walking with Hannah! We bet she is getting into all sorts of trouble.

And we think cancer stinks. We are purring for all of those who are dealing with this terrible disease. There are far too many.

  6. Isn't it good we have the blogosphere to keep in touch with our friends when we get bored?

Fence walking might have been fun.

Cancer is a tough cookie and one we can't get rid of fast enough. Purrs and prayers for those and their families who are trying to cope, always hoping. With advances almost daily, there is that.

    Hugs,
    Tom & Julie

  8. Daisy wasn't hacked, but a site she links to was. If she knows what site and has removed it from her link list, that might have resolved the issue. I don't think you'd be infected, but maybe just take Daisy off your blog roll/list widget until everything is sorted out.

  21. Dolce has had a lot of times being "bored" lately. He likes to play more than we first realized.
Dolce's decided to cure some of the boredom by running under the bed at bedtime to reach out and tag Daddy's feet as he turns down the bed.
He also started prying open cupboard doors and jumping inside the cabinet before the door swings shut.
    Beats being bored... ;-p
