Oscar

.

This lovely man cat is called Oscar

and he sometimes comes to greet us

and walks along the fence.

It's very sad that he has been turned out on the street

as his owners have had a baby and didn't want him around.

Before he goes off he always comes

and waves to Lucy before going on his travels.

  6. Oscars peeps tossed him onto the street when they had a human baby? That's awful! So sad and really disgusting, too. Where does he sleep? Who feeds him? Is there ANYONE nearby with room in their heart and home to give Oscar a proper, loving forever home? He looks like a really nice guy. Bet he'd make a wonderful companion for some 'proper' peeps.

    1. Oscar's people had a baby and they stopped looking after him as it was too much trouble for them. We only live in a small cul-de-sac and my friend often found him sitting on her sofa with her cat Lucky. He does get fed by several families so he isn't starving away to nothing but we all worry when we get any amount of snow or if it is very wet.

  8. Poor Oscar. He is quite handsome.
Makes us wonder what the parents will teach their
baby about animal respect and obligation.
Nice of him to stop by and say "Hi" to you Lucy.

  9. Poor Oscar! That is terrible what happened to him. I just want to say my favorite brother from my litter was adopted by a couple who wanted a cat for their baby to grow up with! My brother and the kid (now toddler-aged) are the best of pals.

  13. We're so sorry for Oscar. He seems to be a nice guy, too bad that his previous family was not educated enough to know that cats and babies can purrfectly go along. Purrs

  23. Oscar is lovely. Too bad he was turned out on the street. :( Devi came to us because they had a baby and couldn't deal with her any longer. We wish Oscar would have had the same luck in finding a new family.
