A Rustle

.

I'm sure I heard something down here

I meowed Hannah and she came to help me

but we couldn't see anything

and can't understand it.

I'm sitting here waiting to hear it again

although my tummy is telling me

it's time for my dinner and I'd hate to miss it

but I'll be back when I've eaten.

  1. Dinner in the kitchen is worth two mice (if that's what they were) in the bush!

  13. Something tells me if you'd found the source of the rustle, you'd have had fresh dinner on the hoof, so to speak! MOL

  15. Yes, indeed. First things first, Lucy ... you and Hannah should go and eat some supper now. Then you can get back to finding whatever was rustling there. :)

  16. Good plan, L. Eating always comes first. You can stare at the air later.

  23. I can hear a rustling in my sitting-room at the moment because SOMEBODY (mention no names) brought in a mouse last night and let it go. We've got the humane trap set - they always work well!
