The vet put that sock on for me
He really has no sense of style
so I'm not going to smile for him.
and to make matters worse
he says I've even got to eat in my carrier
so I'm on hunger strike as I'm not eating this
I want CHICKEN!!!
Thank goodness for Zoey at Zoolatry
as she's sent me some stylish stripy socks.
Hannah, what a bummer that you got saddled with such an ugly accessory - and have to eat in a PTU! :-(
ReplyDeleteOh my poor sweet girl, I am sending lots of SMOOCHIES! I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh the indignity! But I am sure it will be for the good eventually! Sending lots of purrs and gentle headbonks to you xoxox
ReplyDeleteHannah, we kind of like that red sock. And those socks that Zoey sent you are really sharp. Wonder why you have to eat in your carrier?? Anyway, we sure hope that leg heals up really fast. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteHannah has to eat in her carrier as the vet doesn't want her to move more than necessary. She has another appointment with him tomorrow when he will check her over and then she has (hopefully) the third appointment after a further 3 days.
DeleteOh Hannah darling...I wondered why you had to eat in your carrier but I understand now your mommy explained to us. LOVE the red sock and the stripy one. xxooxxooxoxox Get better sweet girl,
ReplyDeleteOh, Hannah, we're purring that you get a good report from the vet tomorrow. Eat a little for your Mum so you don't make her worry.
ReplyDeleteOh Hannah! We're sorry you gotta wear a sock. Ernie says it's probably like wearing that stoopid cone. No fun! We hope your leg is better soon and you don't hafta wear the sock for long.
ReplyDeleteHannah, we, too, are sorry you have to wear that sock (though red IS your colour), and hope that it means you won't require surgery. We also hope you get fed something extra-tasty to make up for having to be so confined. Healing purrs from us.
ReplyDeleteWe are sorry you have to wear that sock, Hannah.
ReplyDeletePurrs <3
Hannah we are so glad you are home...and looking very chic in your stockings
ReplyDeleteHugs madi and mom
We sure hope the healing is nice and quick for you pretty Hannah. I think your sock is right fancy. Purrs to you sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteThe socks look very festive, Hannah. Hope you heal fast and don't have to use that restaurant for long.

Hannah, red is an awesome color! It shows off your beautiful coloring!
ReplyDeleteWe hope your enclosed feeding and "containment" is over very very soon.
We love how your sock is red in time for Christmas! We are purring for you.
ReplyDeleteWe really like your candy cane socks. At least your vet put a red sock on for you with Christmas coming. We don't know why you have to eat in your PTU, but we do think you should get special noms. We are purring and praying, Hannah, that you make a speedy recovery! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteThe vet put the sock on my foot to stop me from walking about as Mum damaged 2 ligaments when she stepped back onto my paw. I have to spend all my time in my transport carrier apart from when I need to go to the bathroom.
DeleteWell, the red sock is festive if not stylish.
ReplyDeleteEating cooped up cannot be fun.
We purr you have good Vet visits and will lose that sock soon !
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
Hannah, I am glad the vet didn't make you STAY there, even if you have some restrictions at home. Get well quickly, ok?
ReplyDeleteSweet Hannah we are sorry for why you have to wear that red sock and eat in your PTU but we think you look all ready for Christmas with your red sock and that cute striped one that Zoey sent you. We sure hope you will eat soon so you can stay strong and heal. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteOh dear me Hannah. We are sorry about the sock. How long do you have to wear it? We hope you don't have to stay in the PTU long. Sending massive purrs.
ReplyDeleteBeing that I am from Massachusetts, I love Red Sox :) The striped ones are great! Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry you have to wear that red sock Hannah and hope your leg heals well. The Zoolatry Human's stripy socks look much smarter.
ReplyDeleteThe stripey socks are much cuter.
ReplyDeleteThe red sock compliments your furs nicely Hannah! And red stockings are so IN this Christmas! Of course the striped socks are that much more stylish! We hope your leg heals well and that you don't have to stay in "jail" for too long, sweetie. Lots of love from all of us.
ReplyDeletethe critters in the cottage xo
Hannah, The very least you could've gotten was pink with bling!!! We hope you leg doesn't hurt too badly and that the Dreaded Sock comes off soon. You poor wee thing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a poor lass. We really hope that the vet person has more skill at making you better than they have in sockie style. How lovely and kind of Zoey.
ReplyDeleteOoo, we like that stripey sock! Sorry you have to have one, regardless of color and style. Purrs...
ReplyDeleteSweet little Hannah, Please eat some nom, so you feel better.
ReplyDeleteI hope those sucks come off soon!
You poor, sweet, dear! Our Mommy (that lazy wench) just read how you had a boo-boo and it was quite serious. We are so sorry it took us so long to pop over and tell you that you are in our thoughts and purrs. We do hope you feel better soon, sweet Hannah! XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteAwww, Hannah. We are purring for you. Your Zoolatry striped sock looks really cute! And hey, Mumsy has always liked red with black, and your white just makes it all the more stylish. We hope you feel better and better soon. Just take care and no worries. Hugs to you, Lucy and your Mom.
ReplyDeleteWe think your red sock isn't so bad-looking, but eating in the PTU does not sound like fun, Hannah. Lots of hugs and purrs and prayers coming your way, sweet friend.
ReplyDeletethe stripey socks look really smart
ReplyDeletePoor Hannah, you are right that sock is a borderline fashion crime. The Zoolatry one is much nicer and suits you well. Vets aren't known for fashion sense.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your Mum will have been busy cooking you chicken so you can eat something in your carrier and your leg will mend faster.
Still sending lots of love and purrs to you
Luff Mungo
& Jane xx
Hannah, we are so glad to see you are home and doing better. While that sock may not be fashionable, at least red, black and white look stylish together. Purrs and headbonks to you, sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely get chicken, Hannah. LOTS OF CHICKEN!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
We're so sorry you had to wear that sock and eat in your PTU ! Red is maybe to get you in the Chrissymouse spirit, don't you think ? Purrs
ReplyDeletePoor baby. We feel for you having to wear that red sock but we're glad you are doing better than was originally thought. Heal well, Hannah. Yeah for Zoey and her stripes!
ReplyDeleteAwww those stripey ones are adorable!!! Hoping you don't have to wear the sock for long! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSweet Hannah we do love those striped socks :) Hope you won't have to wear your red socks for too long and that you get lots and lots of chicken.
ReplyDeletePOTP and lots of luvs
Marty and Mom
How are you now sweet Hannah? xox
ReplyDeletePoor thing, your carrier is not very big to eat in it as well, can't your mum find an old baby park and close it on the top, if you have to stay in there for a long time ? I actually like the red sock suits already for Christmas !
