A rustling I will go

I can hear something

Is it a bird?

I'll just creep nearer

I can't see anything in here

but I'll take a closer look.

It must have been

a sudden gust of wind.

  1. Darn! Out here in southern California, that type of rustling usually means a lizard - they are fun to play with!

  2. Rats! Oh, it wasn't a rat, was it? Yuck. Maybe a mouse or a little chipmunk? We certainly hope you'll find something tasty!

  6. ... or a windy mouse? Ruse is good at finding/hearing things, too, but his momma and bro ... they must be deaf.

Ruse and I love that you're in the ever-alert club!
