Beware

I'm sitting quietly having a think

as I need to take special care before going outside.

The snow is melting on the roof

and as it slides down

it lands with a thump, so I've got to be quick

as I don't want to be buried alive.

  1. Lucy, you may want to wait until the snow is mostly gone before doing any lengthy patrols!

  3. You are wise, Lucy. Avalanches are dangerous things, unless you happen to have a friendly St. Bernard at paw!

  6. That sounds rather dangerous, Lucy. Maybe you should just stay indoors until the snow has all melted?
