Sleepy Saturday

.

This was me first thing this 3 days ago

I was all peaceful but then I got pushed into my carrier

and taken to the nasty v-e-t for my annual torture

so they can steal my blood and abuse me

with thermometers pushed in dark places.

Then mum gives them all our money.

Mum says that's the most painful part

but Hannah and I don't agree!

BUT

The horrid vet lady said my teeth wanted cleaning

and before I knew it I was on the operating list

for the next day when they stole

5 of my teeth

of course they kept me for a few days

to continue the torture as they found I also had

a gum infection but Mum fetched me home last night

and I haven't stopped eating since.

  4. Ouch! Lucy, you've been to the vet far too often lately. Ugh. Sending purrs for speedy healing of your gums...We did okay after our multiple extractions, though we weren't very comfortable for a few days. :-/

Here's hoping you don't need to go back until next year, and then just for routine stuff.

  12. Oh my poor Lucy ! I hope you find your appetite back quickly ! You don't need a denture yet with 5 teeth left ! One of my previous cats lived 20 years and certainly 10 years without teeth and she even could eat dry food ! Imagine !

  16. That sort of treatment is simply HORRIBLE. Thermometers AND toof-stealing? We say you deserve an ENTIRE chicken for retribution.
