Hiding

I'm hiding under this stool Because Mum has a job for me.


Today I have been ordered to be a paperweight.
This pile of rubbish somehow fell on the floor yesterday (Lucy and I have no idea how it happened).

After all Lucy and I were down the garden when it happened.

Honest !!

    I bet your mummy needs you to be a paperweight because she knows that papers can just fly off everywhere on their own. Mummy says I'm a hopeless paperweight because I chew on her papers. She never told me I couldn't do that!

    Of course you two were outside when it all happened. Me and Charlie are quite willing to vouch for your innocence in all this.

    You make a lovely paperweight Hannah!! But we think you shouldn't have to hide. We think you should get extra treats instead for doing such a grand job of keeping those pesky papers down!

    Those papers just blew off the table and some ghost blew them off. You two had nothing to do with it. You two are just the best. We love coming to visit with you.

    We think it woudl be fun to have a job as a paperweight - do you get to taste any of the papers, because Barney loves to chew it and we think that would be a part of the deal!
