We don't have bonfires nights here unless there is an occasion...was there an occasion , Lucy? We are glad your Mama makes you feel better when they occur :)
The occasion for the bonfire was that a squillion years ago Guy Fawkes wanted to blow up our Parliament as he wanted to over throw the government and impose his own friends as the new government. Thankfully for us he failed and was thrown onto the bonfire himself.
Awww, poor Hannah. You should hide UTB like I do when there are fireworks! Then, when they're over, come out and demand more stinky goodness. Purrs, Milita
H & L.......this bee soundin like 4th of de month oh joo lie heer...onlee peepulz shoot off fire werks for weekz on end...even if they iz knot s'pozed two.........yea, N we thought we wuz bad with numberz ♥
Mommy couldn't post, cause she's been busy, and she hates that she missed Bonfire Night AGAIN. No one around here celebrates it. But she does remember going to a Bonfire Night Celebration at least once or twice, so I guess for Americans that's not bad.
That is so good of your Mom.
ReplyDeleteWe do not like big bange very much either.
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
Sounds like a great idea to stay indoors. I don't like it at all.
ReplyDeleteI hope it is not too bad. Staying inside is definitely a good idea.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good Mum you have Hannah and Lucy, to keep you nice and safe in the house. Sounds pretty darn scary to us. Have a great Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBonfire night sounds like our 4th of July. We usually stay under the bed until all the noise is over. Stay safe, girls!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you two are safe and extra cuddles are always nice. Enjoy your time with Mum!
ReplyDeleteWe're glad you're not allowed out during fireworks (we assume it's similar to fireworks). Cuddles help...so do treats!
ReplyDeleteThat is some scary stuff pretty girls!

ReplyDeleteStaying safe is the most important thing!

ReplyDeleteIt's been terrible here and I have been UTB for hours and hours!! Stay safe girls xox
ReplyDeleteThe fireworks are not very near me, so the bangs are not loud and scary for me. Mum still keeps me shut in though.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a good day to stay indoors where it's quieter. Hopefully it went by quickly.
ReplyDeleteIt is a day to stay indoors for sure! Cuddle up and it will be over soon!
