Friday the 13th





In the UK Friday the 13th is supposed to be unlucky 


and the year 2013 has had two of them.


The last one is today and the best thing to do


is to sleep the day away






and snuggle with friends






and stay there until it's gone






unless of course you hear the call for a chicken lunch


when it is considered quite safe to venture into the kitchen.

    I think Friday the 13th is my LUCKY day! I guess it is a good thing I don't live in the UK today.

    Hannah, it's considered a bad luck day in Canada as well, and presumably the US. However, our human bought her two childhood ponies WAY back on Friday August 13, 1976 and ever since then it has been GOOD luck day for her!

    Dad has a friend who always seemed to have something happen on Friday 13th. He never goes outside on that day and before he retired he would always take the day off as one of his days holiday.
    He will be doing the same as you today.

    I hate to break it to you but there is another Friday 13 coming in December. I know this because that's my birthday, so it's always been a good luck day for me :-) Hope it becomes a good luck day for you lovely girls too!!

    Great way to keep safe on Friday 13th. Like your little friends. :) It's not always a bad day, my Mummy and Daddy first met 17 years ago on Friday 13th and they are still together. :)

    You look vewy sweet all snuggled up, but I hate to tell you..........December also has a Friday 13 this year! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! Guess you will have to plan another full day of snoozing when it rocks around!
