I can hear something moving
and I'm waiting to see what it is.
I've examined this stem
but the sound isn't right so I've moved round
to look again.
I bet it was Mum teasing me - she does sometimes
but I'll get her back
(sighs) one day!

What a tease! She could at least leave a treat for you to find!
ReplyDeleteNot fair that your human tries to trick you with strange noises! The least she could do is find a critter for you to chase, since that is probably what you think it was!
ReplyDeleteTeasing moms aren't fair at all. She should have found you a mousie or something.
ReplyDeleteOh no Lucy, that Mom was playing norty tricks on you??? That wasn't nice of her but maybe she was just playing with you. Hope all of you have a terrific day.
ReplyDeleteOh, if you find a mousie, will you share it with your mommy?
