.
Mum says to be honest she had never heard of Dr. Seuss
until
Ann set us the Dr Seuss Day Challenge
.
.
and as she had done us this great picture we had to pick up the gauntlet!!
.
While we were reading about him we came across the
.
Wubbulous World of Dr Seuss
.
.
Yertle the Turtle was king of the pond and who was brought down to earth
by Mack the turtle who burped and shook the King's throne making him fall to the bottom of the pile.
.
.
Dr Seuss wrote also wrote many silly songs including
The Plinker Plonker
and the left sock thieves.
.
Here is another of his quotes
.
.
we are glad we know who he is now and we are going to
read more about his work.
.
You did a great job, ladies! We wouldn't have done a post at all, except that Ann sent us our graphics. Our human is NOT creative that way. LOL.
ReplyDeleteBTW, one of our human's favourite quotes is the "Be yourself" one.
Happy Friday!
We thinks we'll think
ReplyDeleteon what to say,
and then come back another day!
Cause our thinking button
is turned off right now,
and what word might rhyme,
other than cow?
But Seuss said "think high
and think low", so when we
have thunked, we will let you know!
Dr. Seuss seams to be very wise and funny too :)

When my Mommie was younger (much, much younger - like when dinosaurs were roaming the earth)she worked part time at a day care center. To this day, she can't hear "green eggs and ham" while getting a wild, cornered animal look in her eyes.
