Frosty Friday

We are still snow bound so

I am sitting at the top of the cat tree

out of the way

as Lucy is still a nip head.



.

Nippy Pillow

It is still icy cold and the snow  is still here

and we can't get outside too much as when the 

sun is out the ice slides off the roof and thumps down

outside the door and Mum is worried we'll get hurt.

However I was getting rather restless

so Mum brought out my nippy pillow

I was so excited

that I gave it a great big bunny kick greeting

and then had a big satisfying sniff.

but after a while Mum whisked it away because she said 

"It was all slobbery wet"

As if!

Wordy Wednesday

Hurry up Mum and sign in

I want to visit my friends.

The Bunny Kick

Hannah was sighing

and said she was bored.



Mum went to her special cupboard

 and came back with Hannah's nippy pillow.

She got very excited and gave it a cuddle

and a bunny kick.

Snow Joke

This is how our garden looked on Friday

and guess what

this is the only difference today!

Mum says she'll dry your paws with a warm towel

My Special Blankie

When Mum makes the bed

she puts my soft pink blankie on it

in case I want a nap.

I make lots of biscuits on it

and spend ages getting it just right

then she has to go and spoil it

with the flash, flash, flash of the camera!

Mistaken

I wish Mum would lose the flashy box

and says she wants some pictures.

She's asked me to smile for a photo or two

but if she thinks I'm going to

she's very much mistaken!

Wandering on Wednesday

It's still cold outside but I was bored

with staying inside.

so I climbed the fence and went towards the garage

stopping to look round on the way.

It was too cold to linger so I jumped onto the garage roof

and had a walk round.

There are lots of old leaves still on this tree

despite the cold winds

but it was so cold up there that I soon wandered back

  and jumped down onto the fence

 and hurried inside to warm my toes.

Wall Walking

I'm walking on the garden wall.

Can you see the snow still on that little pot?

It's been there for well over a week.

Fortunately the sun is coming out now so it could melt.

I'll try and find a sheltered spot to enjoy

the warmth while it lasts.

We are sad today because our friend Eric has gone

to Rainbow Bridge.  Our love and purrs are with

his Mum, Dad and brother Flynn xx xx xx

A Closed Door

Do you think we're in trouble Hannah?

Well I don't know but it looks as though the door's closed Lucy.

So do you think we'll have to knock and wait to be let in?

Oh - wait a moment Lucy I've just given the door a push

and it isn't latched after all.

(whispers)

"Hopefully she won't know how long we've been out.

Just act all surprised if she starts going off on one!"

Meet Leo

This is one of my very first toys

and it's a tiny little lion who I call

L E O 

He is my very favourite toy and he enjoys 

me giving him a good bunny kicking.

and when I've finished that he likes me to 

give him the bitey

followed by a big kiss.

Furs Flying

I wanted to look round

so I made my way onto the roof

and went to the very edge

and sat looking all about.

My furs got very windswept.

Of course Mum had to spoil it by shouting me

and when I looked down at her and she told me to



GET DOWN NOW



but I didn't hear her until I was ready!

Blue Sky

I was in luck today

as we had a blue sky.

It was a lovely treat

after this cold and wintry weather.
