What a cheek!

I'm sitting here patiently waiting for the back

door of the garage to be opened for me.

I like to get on a high shelf

(whispers) and whap things down

Mum says I am unlucky today though

because the car has been cleaned 

and all the paw marks have gone 

AND

she shut the door so I couldn't even get in!!

Fencing

It was a lovely day yesterday

so I took full advantage of it

and nosed into the next door neighbour's garden

although I didn't hang about

as I had more important things to check out.

We wish it was the same today.

it has been raining over 24 hours non stop now

and it doesn't even look as though it's going to stop!

We are looking

Mum says we're getting porky

 but we can't be as

we haven't had a snack for nearly half an hour!

The String Part II

Lucy wanted to play with the string too

and caught it in her paw

It tried to get away from her and hide under the 

washing machine

but she caught it deftly 

and grasped it tightly in her paws saying

"Don't get clever with me stringy"

Talk Like a Pirate

Today is not a day for Lily Livered Sprogs

We are Captain Hannah and Assistant Captain Lucy

and we are both ladies with plenty of pir-attitude

Join us on our ship where we have been testing the plank

in case there is need for any sprogs to take

an early bath.

We must warn you that there is a rogue pirate ship

sailing in these waters and they are looking for  the treasure

We hope you will study this map carefully and 

help us hunt for it before they find it.

We are hoping to find many doubloons and gold 

before we make merry with a tankard or two of grog

Now before we go help yourself to some food and

eat as much as you like -  there are buccaneer burgers,

seagull legs and castaway cutlets to enjoy

 and for desert rat pooh cakes.

Drink up, drink up me hearties

You'll need to be merry before you show us your hornpipe

The String Part 1

Hannah found a length of string

and brought it inside for Mum to see.

She rolled all round the floor with it

and wouldn't let Lucy have a go.

As you can see Lucy didn't want a go - much!!

Caught in the Act

Lucy loves to whap a pen

and doesn't care 

if she's caught red pawed.

Here she is with her paw at the ready to "borrow" one

but unfortunately for her

Mum caught her in the act!
